Senator Cantwell Visits Tri-Cities

Senator Maria Cantwell was in the Tri-Cities today to tour the Port of Pasco and promote a bill in congress that would bring federal money to transportation projects.

Cantwell is co-sponsoring the Focusing Resources, Economic Investment and Guidance to Help Transportation (FREIGHT) Act, a bill that would put money in infrastructure projects like rail construction at the Port of Pasco.

Cantwell spoke to community leaders and workers at Lampson International in the Port of Pasco.
