Cantwell Blasts Supreme Court Decision That Will Strip Critical Birth Control Coverage

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling that will strip critical coverage for birth control from Washingtonians and Americans throughout the country:

“The Supreme Court’s ruling today sets a dangerous precedent and will strip birth control coverage from Americans. An employer’s personal beliefs shouldn’t dictate the health coverage employees can receive.”
