Cantwell Statement on First 100 Days of the Biden Administration

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement on the first 100 days of the Biden administration:

“Combatting the COVID pandemic was priority one for the Biden administration. Their laser focus helped secure more resources to fight the pandemic with vaccines and the high unemployment, economic downturn with stimulus checks and benefits for those who lost their jobs. They have made sure that restaurants, entertainment venues, and small businesses are now eligible to get the help they need when they were previously left out.

“Now President Biden is bringing the same laser focus to the infrastructure package, which will put Americans back to work, grow our economy for the future, and secure America’s competitiveness.”
