Cantwell Statement on Passing of Harold Moss

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement about the passing of former Tacoma Mayor Harold Moss:

“Harold Moss was an incredible leader in Tacoma. Years did not slow him down. If there was a key event in Tacoma, Harold was there. Whether serving as Tacoma’s first Black mayor or his advocacy for affordable housing and economic opportunity for the Hilltop neighborhood, Harold did it all. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and our entire community.”
