Cantwell Statement on Republicans’ Decision Not to Vote on Graham-Cassidy Healthcare Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement on Senate Republicans’ decision not to bring the Graham-Cassidy healthcare bill to the Senate floor for a vote this week:

“It has been wrongheaded to try to stabilize the individual market by destabilizing Medicaid.  I’m glad this misguided effort was successfully stalled.  We must now focus on solutions for affordability and access by innovating in the delivery of health care.”
