Cantwell Statement on the Passing of Former Secretary of State Colin Powell

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement on the passing of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

“I am saddened to hear of the passing of Secretary Colin Powell. His service to our country will not be forgotten. He made history as the first Black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State.”
