Cantwell Statement on the Passing of Jackie Bradley

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement on the passing of former Okanogan County Clerk Jackie Bradley, one of the longest serving county officials in Washington’s history.

“Today, Washingtonians are mourning the passing of a legend in Northeast Washington politics, Jackie Bradley,” said Cantwell. “Jackie was a stalwart of Democratic politics in Okanogan County, and was deeply respected by Democrats and Republicans throughout Washington state. Any visit to Northeast Washington would feel incomplete without a trip to see Jackie. She opened her home up throughout the years to so many elected leaders, candidates, political staffers and volunteers, making sure they had a place to stay whether they were in the county for an event or just passing through.

“I’ll always remember Jackie’s radiant smile, her dedication to politics and her commitment to public service as Okanogan County Clerk for nearly four decades. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her many friends.”
