Senator Maria Cantwell Hires Olympic Peninsula and Pierce County Director

WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) today announced the hiring of Ryan C. Dicks as the Olympic Peninsula and Pierce County Director.

Dicks is responsible for outreach to Clallam, Kitsap, Jefferson, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pierce Counties. His duties will include putting together a representative group of citizens who will meet annually with the Senator on issues of importance to the Olympic Peninsula and Pierce County. He will also attend community events on behalf of Senator Cantwell. Dicks began working for Senator Cantwell on April 30, 2001.

"Ryan is a wonderful addition to my Washington state staff. He knows the Olympic Peninsula and the western coast of Washington state very well," Cantwell said. "Ryan will be a great field representative, he is hard working and very responsive."

Dicks, a 1998 graduate of Georgetown University, in Washington D.C., is experienced in Washington state politics. He worked on Representative Norm Dicks 1998 congressional campaign. Most recently, Dicks worked for SafeHarbor Technology Corporation based in Grays Harbor.
