Cantwell Promotes Trusted Aide to Communications Director

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) announced that Angela Becker-Dippmann will serve as Communications Director.

Becker-Dippmann has served as Cantwell's legislative assistant and senior advisor since 2001.

“Angela's years of service in our state will continue to be an asset for our team,” Cantwell said.

Prior to joining Cantwell's office, Becker-Dippmann held several positions as a reporter and editor, most recently as managing editor of a Seattle energy policy publication.

Becker-Dippmann graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, before attending graduate school at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Becker-Dippmann will continue to be based in Cantwell's Washington, D.C., office.
