Cantwell Statement on Tragic Shooting in Connecticut

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement regarding the school shooting today in Newtown, Connecticut.

“The tragedy in Connecticut today is heartbreaking,” said Cantwell. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and victims of this incomprehensible shooting. All Washingtonians – and all Americans – grieve for the senseless loss of innocent lives and for the community of Newtown.”
